The History of our Company
Throughout the communities we serve, Pinnacle Bank is known for our strength, stability, service and values. We're a family-owned bank holding company that traces our history back to 1938 in Palmer, Nebraska. During the Great Depression, Palmer, a town of 420 people, needed a bank.
A group of businessmen and farmers, including brothers George and Tom Dinsdale, opened the State Bank of Palmer - the forerunner of our current Dinsdale family banking organization.
Building Relationships, Creating Community
Over the years Pinnacle Bank has grown its community banking network with locations across eight states. Even as we grow, the relationships we have with our customers and within our communities are what continue to make the difference. Our banks are led by managers who make local decisions and run their banks with their communities in mind, so we can offer solutions that best fit our customers' needs. Pinnacle Bank is a strong combination of true community banking matched with the resources available from the entire company.
We are committed to investing in people, in passions, and in the places where we live and work. We sponsor hundreds of community causes, including school activities, special events, children's programs and more. We believe our job is more than banking - it's being a friend, a neighbor, and a link in the community.
Although we take a personal approach to banking, we continue to invest in technology that provides our banks access to the latest products and features of the industry. Our investment in up-to-date technology and our commitment to customer relationships have helped us grow into the multistate banking network we are today.
At Pinnacle Bank, we have been helping businesses, farms and communities grow since 1938. By staying true to our values and making customer service a priority, we will continue to be here day after day, year after year, to bring you the best banking experience possible. That's the Pinnacle Way. And it's the way banking should be.
